Fernandina Beach Main Street is 4 years old. In that time, we have worked on a number of initiatives to support the downtown district. Among them are a new signage program, Preservation Awards Ceremony, Preservation Home Tour, new flowering pots, landscaping, and a beautiful butterfly garden. There are many volunteers who help us with all of our activities, but there are still people who really don’t know much about this program. Depending on word of mouth to understand anything is a lot like playing telephone. We will be holding a public information forum at 3:30 on July 22, 2019 at the Nassau County Public Library on North 4th St in Fernandina Beach.

The presentation itself will include achievements, goals, and questions and answers. Please plan to share your ideas and/or sign up to volunteer. Bring your questions and also bring any rumors you’ve heard about us. We will either confirm or deny. This program is all about keeping our downtown healthy and vital while we respect our history. Please plan to join us.
