Editor’s Note: On April 26, 2016, awards and scholarships were distributed to the Fernandina Beach High School Class of 2016. This is the last in a series of four posts. Parents and students gathered in the multi-purpose room to honor graduating seniors for their many accomplishments. Our congratulations to the graduates. We hope you enjoy.

Faculty Awards

The Faculty Awards for Citizenship based on respect for peers, and adults, and outstanding character throughout their high school years went to Sarah Lowe, and Blake Richardson.
The Faculty Award for School Spirit Award went to Katie McNeil and Jenkins Mock.
The Faculty Award for School Spirit Award based on a positive supportive attitude toward FBHS, and for enthusiasm, academic and extracurricular activities was awarded to Jenkins Mock and Katie McNeil.

The Faculty Award for Leadership went to Brett Burnette, and Savannah Christianson.
The Faculty Award for Leadership went to Brett Burnette, and Savannah Christianson.
The Faculty Award honoring leadership, spirit, and citizenship goes to Gray Bean and Kate Walker.
The Faculty Award for “Best All Around” for  leadership, spirit, and citizenship goes to Gray Bean and Kate Walker.

Principal’s Award

Having served as President of the Senior Class and President of Student Government, Gray Bean and Bret Burnette receive Principal's Award of Excellence.

Assistant Principal Chris Webber stands students who have received “All A’s”every quarter for four years. Victoria David, Cassidy Mandelbaum, MacKenzie Monaghan, and Christian Fasano.

The Principal’s Award is chosen by Dr. Lodree in recognition of leadership, citizenship, academics, extracurricular activities, and for demonstrating truth-worthiness, respect, fair, caring, and being a responsible young adult. Amy Strozinsky was the winner!
