Following a public hearing on an airport refunding revenue note at the December 5, 2017 Regular Meeting, of the Fernandina Beach City Commission (FBCC), Vice Mayor Len Kreger asked City Manager Dale Martin to provide a detailed, written explanation of the financing plan for the new airport welcome center/terminal building at the FBCC’s December 19 meeting.

Both commissioners and members of the public have raised questions on the revenue bond, airport revenues and reserves. Although questions have been asked and answered at several meetings, Kreger asked that a comprehensive written document provide the details that seem to give rise to questions on a regular basis.

Vice Mayor Len Kreger presented commissioners with the photos below of work in progress on the new welcome center/terminal at the airport.
