SR 200 detour this weekend

Yulee, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation will temporarily detour eastbound State Road A1A/State Road 200 from Pages Dairy Road to Felmor Road overnight Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. as part of the State Road A1A/State Road 200 Reconstruction Project.

This overnight detour will allow construction crews to install a drainage pipe across State Road A1A/State Road 200 near Rubin Davis Lane. This detour will not impact drivers traveling westbound on State Road A1A/State Road 200.

Drivers attempting to travel eastbound on State Road 200 between US 17 and Rubin Davis Lane will be detoured onto northbound U.S. 17, right onto Pages Dairy Road and right onto Felmor Road where they can rejoin eastbound State Road A1A/State Road 200.

Crews will also shift traffic onto new eastbound lanes on State Road 200 between David Hallman Road and Old Nassauville Road beginning Friday, April 3 at 9 p.m. through Saturday, April 4. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead.

This project extends from Rubin Davis Lane to O’Neill Scott Road and is expected to be completed in summer 2020, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
