The Amelia Island Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will
hold a flag retirement ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13th at
Fire Station #1 on 14th Street in Fernandina Beach. Everyone is invited to
attend and to bring their worn or damaged American flags to be burned at
the conclusion of the ceremony. UPS stores in Fernandina Beach and Yulee
are accepting flags to be retired for those who cannot attend the ceremony.
