Candidate Medardo Monzon

Medardo Monzon’s campaign for Fernandina Beach City Commission announces mechanism to gather additional community input to build its platform.

“Since launching the candidacy in July, I have met with many individuals and have held four Community Input Workshops. We have scheduled five more workshops in September. I strongly believe that a candidate’s platform should be based on the concerns and desires of all the constituents of the community, instead of developing it in a vacuum.” said Monzon.

“The highly interactive workshops have been well received. However, it is nearly impossible to reach personally more than 10,000 voters in a campaign cycle. That’s why we have developed another mechanism, through our campaign website, to gather additional information from broader segments of our community. The input that I have received so far is valuable; I welcome receiving more ideas and comments to build a strong community platform,” added Monzon.

Fernandina Beach voters are invited to go to www.medardomonzon.com/communityinput to share their ideas about how to preserve and improve the quality of life in the city.
