It’s time for the annual Benefit Gala and Golf!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation presents the premier event of the year, its annual Benefit Gala on February 29. The 13th annual Gala, featuring dinner, entertainment, and auction, is once again hosted at The Ritz-Cartlon, Amelia Island – a trusted friend of the Boys & Girls Clubs for many years.

2020 BGC Benefit Committee: Mike McClane, Ann Searles, Antoinette Richter, Rose Baugh, Nancy Carpenter, Joan Sheppard, Jen Edgington, Andrew Schmidt, Nancy Graham

The Gala supports the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County in providing the youth of our community a safe space to work on academics, engage with positive role models, and develop into confident leaders. The event features a cocktail hour, dinner, auction, and entertainment by VoicePlay, an acapella group based in Orlando.

The Benefit Gala auction includes everything from fine jewelry from Robison Jewelry to hotel stays, cruises, and memorabilia. If you aren’t able to attend the auction, you can participate by bidding online as well!

Individual reservations for the Gala are $200 and table sponsorships start at $2,000. For more information on the Gala and to buy tickets or sponsorships please visit https://bgcnassau.org/gala-2020 or call (904) 261-8666.

The day prior to the Gala will be the 2nd Annual Swing to Open Doors Golf Tournament hosted at the beautiful Golf Club of Amelia Island. This event is a great afternoon of fun and fundraising for the Boys & Girls Clubs and includes sponsorship opportunities as well as contests and prizes for players. To learn more about the Golf Tournament on February 28, please visit https://bgcnassau.org/golf-tournament or email [email protected].

Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau depend on these annual fundraising events to support after school and summer programs at their two clubs. At both the Roberts Learning and Achievement Center and the Miller Freedom Center over 700 local youth ages 6 to 18 are mentored by our professional staff and volunteers to develop skills in character, health, fitness, technology, the arts, and sports.
