Boys and Girls Club Foundation

The highly-respected national rating organization, Charity Navigator (CN), has granted their four-star rating to Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation. This top classification in the category of Human Services means that CN has found the Foundation to be “Exceptional; exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its Cause”. The Foundation raises all the money necessary to support the operation and capital requirements of the two Boys & Girls Clubs in Nassau County.

CN bases their ratings on analysis of the Foundation’s application of and stability of its financial resources, and on the transparency of its financial and organizational reporting. A major factor in this rating is that 90.9% of contributions go directly to the programs and operation of the Clubs.

When coupled with high rating of Boys & Girls Clubs’ performance from agencies such as Florida Tax Watch, the CN rating provides additional assurance that financial support of local Boys & Girls Clubs is both worthwhile and effective in helping kids become productive adults.
