Friends of the Library (FOL) needs your books, CDs and DVDs now so volunteers can get them sorted and organized for the Spring sale, taking place April 12th, 13th and 14th at the Peck Center Gym, 516 S. 10th Street. FOL welcomes your donations of gently used books for adults, young adults and children in hardback, paperback or audio format as well as donations for our large categories of DVDs, vinyl records, puzzles, games and CDs. Volunteers have been working since January to organize early donations and FOL would like to thank all donors who helped us get a head start on our Spring sale collection.

Your books are needed for the Spring FOL Book Sale!

100% of the proceeds from the Friends of the Library Spring and Fall Book Sales pay for specialized databases, network access, books, e-books, periodicals, and other materials that keep the Fernandina Beach Library current.

Due to the space constraints in our sort room and on the selling floor at our sale, we are unable to accept donations of magazines, books that are damaged from water or storage conditions, encyclopedias, used text books, and Time/Life series books.

Contributions may be left in the book drop box under the covered walkway in front of Peck Head Start at 511 S. 11th Street or use the collection area in the Peck Administration Center at 516 South 10th Street. Use the front entrance (Fir Street between S. 10th and S. 11th Streets), turn right and look for the Friends of the Library sign on your left, next to the stairwell. Our friends at Compass Self Storage located at 2641 Bailey Road have kindly allowed us to set up a donation drop. You will find a bin to drop off books near the reception area on the first floor at Compass Self Storage. For large donations that donors are unable to handle, please call Patti Kirschling at 904-310-9134.

Anyone interested in volunteering to sort books, pick up large donations, or assist at our sales, please contact us. For further information regarding this event, on joining Friends of the Library, or to donate, visit the Friends of the Library website at www.fernandinaFOL.org.
