Barnabas opens new satellite office in Callahan

Hope Builders for Women graduates who seek to change for their future.

The Barnabas Center recently opened a new satellite office in Callahan on January 14th to help residents in west Nassau County. The new office is located at 45021 3rd Avenue, Callahan, FL 32011.

Nassau County residents can receive assistance in Callahan by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call the Barnabas main number at (904) 261-7000 for any of the following assistance:

Assistance with Food Stamp applications
Crisis financial assistance for rent or utilities
Enrollment for medical and dental services

In addition to the services listed above, the satellite office will include classes for the Hope Builders for Women program which is supported by the Women’s Giving Alliance. The class is open to women in Nassau County (ages 21-55 who have low-to-moderate incomes) who are seeking a change for their future. Classes assist women to become financially secure, create plans to reach goals and explore career opportunities. The first meeting will take place on February 6th at 10 a.m. at the satellite office in Callahan, and February 7th at 5 p.m. at the main office in Fernandina Beach (1303 Jasmine Street).
