Assistant County Manager Taco Pope appointed to FACT Board of Trustees

Assistant County Manager, Taco Pope, was recently appointed to the Florida Association of Counties Trust (FACT) Board of Trustees. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Pope will serve beside other professionals to review claims and provide risk management services for FACT’s twenty-three (23) member counties.

Mr. Pope stated, “The Florida Association of Counties Trust is a fantastic organization that serves Florida Counties and their residents well. I am humbled to have been selected to serve on the FACT Board of Trustees and look forward to using the knowledge gained to reduce liabilities against the County”.

The Florida Association of Counties Trust (FACT) was established in 1989 as a not-for-profit public entity risk pool. The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of representatives from the participating members, promoting local self-government and best serving the needs of Florida’s Counties. All insurance programs are not-for-profit and are operated in the public interest.
