Carey Dresser, director and set designer, is a classically trained ballet dancer, who is retired from a professional ballet career. He was a principal dancer in NYC with the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center and The Manhattan Ballet among other companies here and abroad. He has performed on the stages of France, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Greece, Japan, China and Korea. He was a child actor and after retirement he returned to his roots in community theaters where he feels “at home.” He has directed, choreographed, acted, designed sets and has been on the Board of Directors for theaters in the southeast. He directed ACT’s 2011 production of Cabaret and was last seen on stage last December in Jacksonville at The Alhambra Theatre and Dining as Mike Nulty in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
