Editor’s Note: One of the benefits of playing Petanque on Fernandina’s waterfront is taking in the beautiful sunsets. Hal is a member of the The Amelia Island Boules Club one of the largest Petanque clubs in the United States. For two years he has gathered together with fellow players to hone his skills. Hal thoroughly enjoys the game and the people who play. He hails from Florida via the mountains of Georgia and has lived on the island for six years. Unlike many of the pictures posted on “Amelia Island revealed ,” this one was taken with an iPhone.
