Afternoon bank robbery at First Coast Community Bank’s 14th Street Branch

A bank robbery occurred at First Coast Community Bank at approximately 1:58 p.m. today.  According to Tony Brauda, executive vice president, all personnel is safe, and those involved in the robbery have been apprehended.

A sign at the main entrance of the branch indicates the branch lobby is temporarily closed, but the drive thru windows are open.

Until information involving the robbery is reviewed, Brauda is unable to report further details. Deposits are insured.
