The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market will be open Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine. Located on North Seventh Street and in the parking lot behind Pineland Bank in historic Fernandina Beach, these two markets truly offer something for everyone. In the farmers market you will find vendors like Tea Nation. They have been making specialty teas since 2016. This husband and wife duo, out of Jacksonville, Florida, are on a mission to make natural healing mainstream. They are passionate about tea, healing, and helping people so that is exactly what they do; they specialize in handcrafted organic tea blends that are geared towards healing. Each tea is blended by hand to ensure equal distribution of ingredients, giving consumers peace-of-mind that all of the healing benefits are consistent in each package!

Also in the market will be Me, Myself, and Pies. They are one of the farmers market’s most popular vendors. They only come to the farmers market on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month and they will be returning on February 22, 2019. They make savory pies like white meat or beef, potatoes and onions in a creamy herb sauce. The also have married the British and Irish aspect of pie in their ground beef and lamb. The have loaded pies, Lorraine, seafood, vegetable, bacon and spinach, broccoli and bacon, pork or turkey sage sausage, and a chicken Cordon Bleu pie. In their sweet pies you will find apple, blueberry, cherry, peach, strawberry, pecan, pumpkin, sweet potato, Key lime, coconut cream, chocolate French silk, and many more. It is recommended you arrive early or special order you pies to make sure they have the flavor you want when you arrive.

Your four legged friend is welcome to join you if they are leashed and well-behaved, and their favorite vendor, Bark ‘N Bake, loves to meet the pooches of the Market Place. They offer a variety of dog treats made from organic ingredients, avoiding pesticides and additives. Apples, bananas, blueberries, carrots, green beans, honey, kale, peanut butter, pumpkin, and spinach are just some of the ingredients in their delicious organic treats!

In addition to these, you will find nearly 40 additional booths full of seasonal produce, fresh baked breads, honey, jam, jellies, pecans, plants, flowering baskets, prepared meals, jerky, farm fresh milk, butter, and ghee, and so much more.

The Fernandina Beach Arts Market is located in the parking lot behind Pineland Bank, at the corner of Eighth and Centre Streets, and there will be an additional 20 booths with hand crafted wood working, whimsical and fine jewelry, pottery, glass and more. This Saturday Terri Bean is at the Arts Market with her Beautifully Beaded Bookmarks. Each bookmark is custom made with quality ribbons and different beads and sentiments making them perfect gifts. John Thompson will have a booth with his custom and hand crafted knives. He creates these hunting, fishing, and chef knives from quality materials and the workmanship is beyond words. Sew What returns with Gloria Houseman. This seamstress makes adorable children’s clothing, fan favorites, and essentials for women like capes, ponchos, and lightweight sweaters.
