Local photographers are invited to submit photos of beautiful, exciting and unique features of Amelia Island for a new book, Amelia Island’s Happy Places: The Insider’s Guide to be published this summer by Story and Song Bookstore Bistro.
To highlight the many delights of our community, the book will include about 30 terrific color photos– from turtles on the beach, to fresh veggies at the Farmer’s Market, outdoor activities, sunrises and sunsets, car shows … everything and anything’s possible.
It will showcase Amelia Island’s many “Happy Places” and the wonderful photographers who enjoy them. To have photo(s) considered, just e-mail high-resolution JPG or PDF photos to [email protected] by April 30!
Include your name, address and when and where the photo was taken. There will be no payment but photographers will be named in the book. If your photo is chosen for the cover, you’ll get a $35 gift card at Story and Song, and every photographer who enters our contest (even if their photo is not selected for the book) will be eligible for a drawing to win a $100 gift card at Story and Song, 1430 Park Avenue, Fernandina Beach.
