Beach Clean Up – Fireworks Round Up – July 5 from 6:30am – 9:30am at an Amelia Island Public Beach of Your Choice. Keep Nassau Beautiful, Kayak Amelia, Amelia Island Beach & Marine Life Protection Task Force, and Live SeaWorthy are sponsoring a beach clean up.

The purpose of the clean up is to remove fireworks and beach debris from the beach before it washes into the ocean at high tide. Register for the event by visiting http://www.kayakamelia.com select BOOK A TRIP select one of the seven access points including North Beach, Main Beach, Seaside/Sadler, Peter’s Point, Scott Road, American Beach, and South Beach. Site Captains will be available at each location to provide Gloves, Trash Grabbers, Trash Bags/Buckets. Volunteers should bring sunscreen and water if desired.

There will be a drawing for prizes at the close of the event. To qualify for prizes you must have a registration, check in with the site captain and sign a registration form.
