Charity’s association with Vintage Donuts began with a Facebook post. After recently moving from Ohio, she stumbled upon a Facebook post about the store. She reached out to the owner, Spence Romine, and expressed her interest in joining the team.
“I wasn’t actively seeking employment,” Charity reminisces. “But something about Vintage Donuts resonated with me, and I knew I had to be a part of it.”
What sets Vintage Donuts apart from its competitors is its commitment to serving fresh, made-to-order treats.
“Our donuts are never stale or reheated,” Charity proudly explains. “Each one is meticulously prepared right before your eyes, guaranteeing an unparalleled taste experience.”
This dedication to quality and authenticity extends to the very name of the establishment. As Charity explains, “The term ‘vintage donut’ refers to a classic, cake-style donut—precisely what we offer, but with a delightful twist.”

“Being a tourist-driven area, we’ve had to adapt our hours to align with the fluctuations in demand,” she explains. “It’s an ongoing process, but we’re committed to ensuring our customers can enjoy our donuts at their convenience.”
Another aspect that Vintage Donuts continually refines is its product offerings. While the core menu remains focused on the vintage donut experience, the team is always exploring new seasonal flavors and limited-time specials to keep things fresh and exciting.
“We’re planning to introduce a range of fall-inspired flavors like pumpkin and apple,” Charity teases. “And we’re toying with the idea of a ‘happy hour’ where we offer discounted donuts during specific times.”
When asked about the driving force behind Vintage Donuts’ success, Charity doesn’t hesitate to attribute it to the passion and dedication of the entire team. From the owners to the staff, everyone shares a genuine love for what they do, and it shows in the quality of their products and the level of service they provide.
“I’ve never had a day where I’ve woken up and dreaded coming to work,” Charity confesses. “I truly love what I do, and I believe that sentiment is shared by everyone who works here.”
