Amelia Lifelong Learning announces a new course for writers beginning on March 12. “Everything you Wanted to Know about Writing Workshops (in Real Life)” will explore the purpose of writing workshops and how they work. Enrollment is limited to 10. The first class will be a lecture on the how and why of workshops and how to critique others’ writing. In each of the remaining classes, two participants will be provided with feedback on their work.

The class will be taught by Jim Caine. Mr. Caine holds an MFA in Creative Writing – Fiction Track from the University of Tampa, FL. He also has a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a B.A. from Salisbury State University, MD. He recently taught a creative writing class for Amelia Lifelong Learning.

The class meets at St. Peter’s Church on Tuesdays, March 12-April 16, from 6 to 8 pm. The course fee is $50.
