60 Townhomes proposed on Amelia Island parcels

A proposed 60-unit townhouse complex on the south end of Amelia Island will be reviewed Tuesday by the Nassau County Development Review Committee.

The project is on four parcels totaling 7.5 acres adjacent to Stewart Avenue, just east of A1A. The property is just south of The Enclave at Summer Beach neighborhood.

Kevin Martin Realty of Jacksonville is the listed agent for the applicant Ocean Gardens Amelia Land Trust. The application was filed on Oct. 11.

The property is zoned residential single family and would require a rezoning of residential townhouse by the Nassau County Commission.

The project is named Ocean Garden Townhomes.

The Development Review Comittee meeting will start at 9 a.m. Tuesday and be held at 96135 Nassau Pl., Yulee, FL 32097 in the Commissioners’ chambers and recorded by the clerk’s office.
