The largest Petanque event in the Americas keeps growing, welcoming players and spectators from around the world to this enchanted Florida island. Play unfolds alongside a harborfront and historic district that beckon with sunshine, shops, restaurants, and a true feeling of joie de vivre – not unlike the French Mediterranean coast, where the sport began.
For complete information on registration and weekend activities, visit https://www.ameliaisland.com/landing-pages/Petanque. Thus far 178 teams from around the nation and the world have signed up to play in the tournament.
Even if you are not a player, you might want to stop by to watch the games and enjoy some refreshments.
Events take place in Fernandina Beach City Parking Lots C and D along the Amelia Riverfront for 3 days, November 8-10, 2019.
