Here Comes the Big Book Bash!

The annual Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library book sale is almost here.

The main sale is March 30-31, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m., and April 1, 9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Also, library members can go to a members-only preview sale March 29, 5-7 p.m. (And you can join the library at the door for that one if you are a non-member.)

All events are at the Peck Center gym, 510 S. 10th St. in Fernandina Beach.

All proceeds support the Fernandina Beach Library.

If you haven’t attended before, you’ll be overwhelmed by how many books are on offer. True book-lovers should carve out a lot of time for this event.

There will be thousands of books in many categories, including:

Hardback, trade & paperback fiction and non-fiction, children and young adult, mysteries and romance, history and WWII, arts and hobbies, biographies and memoirs, cookbooks, poetry, gardening, decorating, religion and philosophy, old and unusual books, large print, and coffee table books. Also CDs, DVDs, LPs,  puzzles and games.

Most items are $3 or less.
