Two Jacksonville media outlets have reported that an 8-foot hammerhead shark was caught and released at American Beach yesterday: Action News Jax and News4Jax. Both reports include photos and witness accounts.
Sharon Skipper, who was swimming in the nearby water at the time, also recorded the capture on Facebook.
