Youth Theater Classes at ACT

Registration is open for fall youth theatre classes at Amelia Community Theatre. Taught by theatre educator Lisa Howard-Welch, these Saturday classes will run from October 1 – November 19 in ACT’s Studio Theatre at 209 Cedar Street.

“Stage Explorers Introduction I” for ages 9-12 is from 11:15 am – 12:30 pm with $125 tuition. Students will explore acting fundamentals such as movement, vocalization, and creating characters.
“Teen Drama Studio: Foundation Acting I” is available for ages 13-18 from 12:30-2:00 pm, with $150 tuition. Ideal for all levels of teen actors, these students will focus on the actor tools of voice, body, and mind as they study character development through scene study. They will present end-of-term scene performances.
