The retiring President, Sue Dwyer and incoming president of the Women’s Club of Fernandina Beach, Rhonda Carney have announced that the club has awarded six high school young women $1,000 scholarships each toward their upcoming freshman year at college. Five of the recipients are from Fernandina Beach High School, and one is from Yulee High School.
Money for the scholarships was earned from the many activities held at the Women’s Club on 201 Jean LaFitte Blvd.
