“Wild Amelia Highway Clean Up” to take place June 27 at 8:00 a.m.

Sunday, June 27th, 8:00 am. Come out before it gets too hot. Join us for the “Wild Amelia” Highway Clean up. Anyone interested in a brisk morning walk while picking up litter on a 2.6 mile stretch of South Fletcher Avenue please meet us at Peter’s Point Parking lot at 8:00 am. Masks are required for the meet prior to the walk.

It will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete depending on the number of volunteers who participate. Disposable gloves, orange safety vests & litter bags & buckets will be provided. You may want to bring medium-weight garden gloves, hat, sunglasses and closed-toed shoes. The group was small in April. We look forward to seeing you this time on Sunday, June 27th.
