White Oak Conservation “Talk for Teens” at the library

Teens and pre-teens are invited to attend an hour-long talk on conservation by education specialists from White Oak Conservation Center sponsored by Friends of the Library. Photo credit: White Oak Conservation Foundation

Friends of the Library is offering an hour-long talk geared towards teens and pre-teens by Education Specialists Mary Boily and Vincent Vitale from White Oak Conservation Foundation. The talk is entitled “What’s Your Role? #conservationandyou.” The talk will be held on Wednesday, March 7th at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Fernandina Beach Library at 25 N. 4th Street in downtown Fernandina Beach.

An exhibit of posters from the collection of Howard Gilman on loan to the library from White Oak Conservation Foundation is on display until the end of April in the Community Room of the Fernandina Beach Library where this talk will be held. The exhibit viewing hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
