Medicare can be a complex and confusing subject … but it doesn’t have to be. Beginning September 28, the University of Florida is offering unbiased, individualized Medicare consultations in Fernandina Beach for both new and existing Medicare recipients, every Wednesday (Fernandina Beach Library) and Friday (Barnabas Administrative Office) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Whether you will be new to Medicare or are already enrolled, this is the time to learn about your choices or re-evaluate your coverage. (During Medicare’s annual Open Enrollment period, October 15th through December 7th you can make changes to your drug and health plan for 2019.)
