Three charged in Prescription Drug Cases

Fernandina Beach police detectives initiated arrest warrants for three individual’s yesterday afternoon, two charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, while all three were charged the sale and delivery of a controlled substance.

James B. Peeples

James B. Peeples, thirty-two years of age of Yulee, Florida was arrested on an active warrant for one count of trafficking in Oxycodone and one count of sale and delivery of prescription pills. On two occasions in February and March 2012 Peeples sold sixty-four (64) Oxycodone pills and one (1) Xanax pill to a confidential informant during an undercover operation. He is currently being held at the Nassau County Jail on a $75,000.00 bond.

Chris L. Shoemaker

 

Chris L. Shoemaker, thirty-nine years of age of Yulee, Florida was arrested on a active warrant for sale and delivery of prescription medication. In February 2012 Shoemaker sold a confidential informant two (2) Oxycodone pills during an undercover operation. He is currently being held at the Nassau County Jail on a $25,000.00 bond.

Kristal L. Shalgado

Kristal L. Salgado, thirty-one years old of Fernandina Beach, Florida was arrested on an active warrant for two counts of trafficking in Oxycodone and one count of sale and delivery of prescription medication. On three occasions in March and April 2012 Salgado sold (30) thirty Oxycodone pills and (20) twenty Hydrocodone pills to a confidential informant during an undercover operation. She is currently being held at the Nassau County Jail on a $125,000.00 bond.
