You’ve probably heard of the “Georgia Peach Truck” or “Peach Truck”. Well now, Michigan’s own Apple Truck is set to deliver fresh Michigan apples at 90 different stops across 5 southern states: Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina.
The Apple Truck is a Michigan-based “rolling” fruit truck that delivers fresh, hand-picked Michigan apples to southern states that don’t have access to our delicious fruit. With a goal of touring through the American South, The Apple Truck is going to visit Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina and feature 90 stops throughout the Fall 2021 Tour. Many people who have moved south from Michigan will be reminded of home when they bite into these fresh McIntosh and Honeycrisp apples.
“We understand the joy that comes from biting into a truly fresh apple,” said MariAnn and Dale Apley, founders of The Apple Truck. “With our apples, they are picked and delivered to you within a few days, ready to eat, juicy and delicious.”
MariAnn and Dale Apley are sixth-generation Michiganders, who grew up enjoying fresh-picked Michigan apples. Now they want to bring the joy and excitement of biting into a fresh Michigan apple south with their Ann Arbor-based company, The Apple Truck.
Not all states are lucky enough to have fresh, juicy apples available locally. In most of the country, apples are delivered within weeks of being picked. The Apple Truck delivers you apples within hours of being picked. And our Michigan apples are grown in a perfect environment, with fresh water from the great lakes, and cold Michigan winters to ensure sweet and tasty apples.
But, thanks to The Apple Truck, southern states are finally getting the chance to have apples that are fresh, non-GMO, and grown on family-owned and operated farms – At The Apple Truck, “Our partners use sustainable farming practices. They’re certified for taking the highest level of care of both the land and the apples grown on it. In our view, there’s no question you can taste the difference between an apple grown with care and one grown without” said Dale Apley. The Apple Truck’s apples are delivered directly after being picked from Michigan apple trees, providing a crunchy freshness in every bite.
The Apple Truck is offering 20 lb (½ bushel) boxes of apples with each box featuring two varieties of freshly picked apples from Michigan. The varieties selected all can be used for eating, baking, freezing, canning, juicing, or sharing! Each box must be pre-ordered through The Apple Truck’s official website, www.theapple-truck.com.

The Special, which is two boxes of apples and two ½ gallons of cider for $100
Depending on the crop and timing, each box may include two of the following varieties of apples: Paula Red, McIntosh, Honeycrisp, Jonathan, Jonagold, Rome, Ida Red, and Braeburn.
