Monday, October 14th at 7:30 PM at the Police Department Meeting Room

At the upcoming meeting of the General Duncan Lamont Clinch Historical Society, City of Fernandina Beach Police Chief Jim Hurley will take us on a historic journey in his presentation of “Stories from the Past.” We will be introduced to the first police chief in Fernandina, hear the tragic story of the death of Chief Frank Surrency, and learn how police weapons and tactics have evolved over the years.

The meeting will be held Monday, October 14th at 7:30 PM at the Police Department Meeting Room located at 1525 Lime Street in Fernandina Beach. Please note this location which will be used for this meeting only.
