Vegetables straight from the farm are available at the Market Place.

Satisfy all of your senses at the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Musician Tommy Cornwell will be serenading guests as they thump seasonal produce and squeeze the fresh baked breads. Attendees can sample the flavors of chopped olive salad, granola, and dried fruits, smell the fragrances steeping from African Love Kitchen and the flowering baskets of Seven Trees Nursery. One can’t help but eye the beauty of Jaxma’s orchids, and selecting the healthiest of landscaping and patio plants from Robert Young of Everblooming Gardens.

Red Flag Spicy Food’s popular mustard hot sauces have been so popular, they’ve had to select new packaging for their latest manufacturing run because of supply chain issues. Max Power and Big Fat Dynamo may now be housed in new packaging, but they still have the same great flavor. Ganas Pecan Company is back this week with everything pecans have to offer including pralines, pecan meal, whole pecans, 1/2 pecans, roasted pecans, salted pecans, honey cinnamon pecans, mini pecan pies, turtles, deluxe milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate covered pecans, and bourbon pecans. I’m sure I may have missed a pecan flavor, but they have boiled peanuts, too. Rose Didion returns Saturday with her authentic Vietnamese egg rolls, and Riverwood Candles is back with their hand poured, soy candles with wooden wicks. They also carry wax melts and car diffusers. In addition to these vendors, you will also find wild caught shrimp, Alaskan salmon, Dave’s Rub-A-Dub-Dub rubs, Chef Bill’s specialties, guacamole made fresh at the market, Bunna Cafe’s Ethiopian coffee, soaps, lotions, scrubs, and other body products from Osborne Ranch, elderberry syrup, microgreens, and so much more.

The farmer’s market is on North Seventh Street in historic, downtown. We are open every Saturday, year ’round, except for April 30th due to the return of the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival. Learn more at FernandinaBeachMarketPlace.com

Our sister market, The Wildlight Market Place, will also be open from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with music by Chet Poslusny who will be strumming up familiar tunes on the banjo as well as the guitar. This new market boasts a combination of arts, crafts, and food vendors including macaroons and cake in a cup by Breaking Hearts, fresh roasted coffee by 21 Queen Street, cups, quilts, cookies, fresh produce, gluten free items, Ferra’s Bakery, woodworking, stemware, and much more. This market is located just north of State Road 200, east of I-95 in the Wildlight Community. The Wildlight Market Place is open on the first and third Saturdays of every month.
