Mayor Johnny Miller  presents a $10,000 check from the City of Fernandina Beach to the Salvation Army’s Hope House representative Mary Moore.

The Salvation Army’s Hope House was one of three organizations chosen by the  City of Fernandina Beach Commission during its April 7 meeting,  to receive donations to support the City’s efforts to feed the hungry during the COVID-19 crisis.  Although services at Hope House, located at 410 S. 9th Street, are now limited due to  COVID-19, emergency food is available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
