This ordinance was written to clarify the city’s current practice of allowing so-called “brick and mortar” food businesses that are located within the city to operate mobile food businesses on private property. It does not permit mobile food businesses on public property or in city rights-of-way.
The ordinance was approved unanimously on first reading with little discussion.
