Fernandina Beach City Manager Dale Martin has advised that the National Citizen Survey mailings for Fernandina Beach began today, July 12, 2017. He has previously explained the genesis and goals of the survey in his Weekly Columns in the Fernandina Observer in February https://fernandinaobserver.com/2017/02/17/weekly-comments-from-dale-martin-44/ and June https://fernandinaobserver.com/2017/06/30/weekly-comments-from-dale-martin-60/ . The postcards were mailed on July 12. The first survey packet will mail on July 19th, followed by the second packet on July 26th.
Below are some additional FAQs about the survey. Please note that this survey is being conducted by an outside firm, The National Citizen Survey, not the City of Fernandina Beach. The city is the customer that will receive the results for incorporation into future planning, goal setting, and budgeting. Individual respondents will not be identified.
