Nassau County Republican Executive Committee announces 2018 Lincoln Day Dinner

The Nassau County Republican Executive Committee (REC) is proud to announce it is hosting the 2018 Lincoln Day Dinner. The banquet, held April 6 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. A cocktail hour and silent auction, featuring significant local and historical items of interest, will begin one hour prior at 6:00 PM.

The 2018 Lincoln Day Dinner is the latest in annual celebration and fundraising events for the Nassau County REC. The event honors President Abraham Lincoln, sixteenth President of the United States and the first from the Republican Party.

The Keynote Speaker for the 2018 Lincoln Day Dinner is The Honorable Jimmy Patronis, Chief
Financial Officer (CFO) of the State of Florida. Florida’s CFO is a member of The Florida Cabinet, chaired by Governor Rick Scott. CFO Patronis oversees the state’s accounting and auditing functions and unclaimed property while monitoring the investment of state funds. The CFO handles insurance consumer service and licensing and oversight of insurance agents, funeral homes, and cemeteries. Additionally, the CFO acts as State Fire Marshal to provide fire related training, education, and services throughout Florida.

Confirmed participants of the 2018 Lincoln Day Dinner include Congressman John Rutherford,
Florida State Senator Aaron Bean, Florida State Representative Cord Byrd, Florida State
Representative Jay Fant, Florida State Representative Matt Caldwell, and numerous local leaders and candidates from across Nassau County and beyond.
