We are pleased to present a recent CNN segment aired Saturday, January 26 on the 150th anniversary of a Civil War battle involving troops from the U.S. Army’s first black regiment, the First South Carolina Volunteers. This battle took place near what is now the ghost town of Crandall, Florida located on the St Marys River.
