Nancy Bartmess – Corner show artist for October at Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery

Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery
Press Release
September 22, 2020

Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery (PAGG) will feature the oil paintings of exhibiting member Nancy Bartmess. Nancy will be the “Corner” show artist for the month of October.

Nancy traces the roots of her contemporary realistic style of painting back to the early period of her training some twenty years ago. Intensive daily studio instruction from a teacher in Atlanta schooled her in such topics as color theory, elements of painting, composition and brush stroke techniques, along with recreating paintings by John Singer Sargent and other artists. She has also experimented in pastel and watercolor, but oils remain her favored medium. She enjoys painting her interpretations of still lifes, florals, and landscapes.

Nancy has been an exhibiting member of PAGG since October 2019. For more information, visit www.nancybartmessfineart.com and paggart.com.

PAGG is a not-for-profit artist cooperative located at 94 Amelia Village Circle in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation shops.
