Nassau County Middle School students stand proudly with their certificates to the National Flight Academy to be held this June 23-28 in Pensacola, Florida.

The academy is open to 7-12 graders who will spend 6 days in a 102,000 square foot facility with flight simulators, virtual reality aviation games, plus other activities designed to educate and inspire them about aviation. For more information about the academy, go to www.nationalflightacademy.com.

Attendance by Nassau County students is sponsored each year by Friends of Fernandina Aviation, a 501(c)3 non-profit community service organization dedicated to promoting aviation education. The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport, Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise, and an individual donor joined FoFA this year as funding partners.
