At 2:00 p.m. on June 29, 2018, the City of Fernandina Beach opened the two bids received for design and building of the southern attenuator in the south basin of the Fernandina Harbor Marina:
Otak Group, Inc., Yulee, FL: $8,153,562.84
Fender Marine Cloud 9 Services, Orlando, FL: $6,152,565.94
City Manager Dale Martin announced that the bids will be reviewed by the city’s marina consultant, Rob Semmes of ATM. The Fernandina Beach City Commission will consider awarding the bid at its August 7, 2018 Regular Meeting.
What was the Engineer’s Estimate? Reject these bids if too high.
