Celebrating the first anniversary of the partnership with the Salvation Army and the City of Fernandina Beach, the Love Your Neighbor Donation Program brought in $3,833.00 in contributions. These contributions assisted 37 families with utility bill payments.
Utility customers can sign up to contribute and deductions can be made from their regular monthly payment to help those in need. The City will accept one time donations as well.
