Recently the Fernandina Beach High School Lady Pirates Soccer team presented a check for $236 to benefit Gerri’s Corner at Barnabas. Every year, the Lady Pirates host a “Pink Game” to raise money to support local women with cancer.

Gerri’s Corner is a free resource center that provides support to women with cancer who live in Nassau County. It is a place to receive answers to questions, support group information, and reference materials. Gerri’s Corner also provides head covers, wigs, hairpieces, chemo bags with necessities and comfort pillows. For more information or to make an appointment for assistance, contact (904) 261-7000.

To donate funds to Gerri’s Corner at Barnabas, please send checks to: Barnabas Center, 1303 Jasmine Street, Suite 101, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 or donate online at www.Barnabas.org/donate.

Barnabas is Nassau County’s only comprehensive service center to help our neighbors in crisis so they can become healthy, productive citizens. Through our partnerships, we reach even more people and maximize resources. We address critical issues facing our community, such as hunger, affordable health care, and prevention of homelessness.

Our mission is to provide assistance to individuals and families in crisis throughout Nassau County. Our vision is to be the primary nonprofit resource in Nassau Country, providing assistance to connect individuals and families to services that will help them overcome crisis and achieve self-sufficiency.
