Join The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island; the Omni Amelia Island Plantation and five other Nassau County large employers for a free community job fair from 9-11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 22.

The event seeks to increase the local employment rate for local residents by connecting them to large companies who are actively hiring locally for several positions. All employment candidates are welcome to attend. There is no fee to participate.

Townies Pizzeria conceptualized the event and donated its space to host the event at its restaurant at 819 T.J. Courson Road. The Nassau County Economic Development Board is co-sponsoring and CareerSource Northeast Florida will provide registration and logistical support.

“The first job fair was a huge success with over 100 employment applicants and several employers asking us to host the event again before the island’s busy season hits,” said Townies Pizzeria owner Matt Klabacka. “Townies wants to do its part to help Nassau County’s local economy.”
