Jennings joins staff of Nassau County Economic Development Board

The Nassau County Economic Development Board (NCEDB) announced today that Leah Jennings has joined the organization as the Director of Business Expansion and Workforce Development. Ms. Jennings served on the organization’s Board of Directors prior to her employment.

As the Director of Business Expansion and Workforce Development, Ms. Jennings will proactively assist existing businesses to maintain or expand their operations in the county, lead Nassau County’s international trade programs through promotion, education and technical assistance and coordinate workforce development programs and services with appropriate partners including the Nassau County School District.

Ms. Jennings’ career encompasses retail sales and banking. After relocating to Nassau County in 2004, she joined 8 Flags Federal Credit Union, which later merged with Community First Credit Union. Beginning as a teller, she served in every branch role culminating with the position of Branch Manager for the Yulee location, a position she held for 5 years.

She is an active member of the Amelia Island Fernandina Beach Yulee Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of its Leadership Nassau program. Ms. Jennings is also active in the local school Student Advisory Council.
