Motorists can expect a single inside lane closure on Interstate 95 northbound at U.S. 17, approximately 2.5 miles south of the Florida Georgia state line, Tuesday, February 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., depending on weather and unforeseen circumstances. No ramps will be affected. The closure will begin immediately south of the U.S. 17 overpass.
The 17-mile ITS Freeway Management project began in November 2017 with completion anticipated in spring 2019, depending on weather and unforeseen delays.
FDOT hired SICE as the contractor to complete this project for $4.5 million.
