One hour before high tide, ocean waves were reaching the sand dues just south of Sadler Road as Hurricane Sandy moves hundreds of miles off shore. Not only is it high tide, but a full moon tide. A number of residents and visitors were viewing the surf conditions at main beach and Sadler Road.
Although no beach erosion was observed at 6:30 p.m., there was still one more hour before high tide. Tomorrow morning is certain to be a great beach combing day.
