Genealogist to Discuss Resources

The Amelia Island Genealogical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the Community Room of the Fernandina Beach Branch Library, located at 25 N. Fourth St.

Carol Clay, Past-President of the Southern Genealogist Exchange, Inc. will present an in-person program on genealogy research and how it plays a part in history.

Specifically, she will discuss two Jacksonville families’ research, while explaining the benefits of the collection at the Southern Genealogist Exchange Society (SGES) office. The SGES is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library and non-profit genealogy society in Jacksonville, Florida, providing information and resources for genealogists since 1964.
