The Friends of the Library Book Club will meet Thursday, to discuss Hidden Tapestry by Deborah Dean. Future meeting dates and books to be discussed are: The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson, October 10; The Razor’s Edge by Somerset Maugham, November 14; The Untouchable by John Banville, December 12; Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz, January 9; Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks, February 14.
The group meets at 7 p.m. in the Parlor of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Discussions are led by retired college English professors Norm and Marilyn Wesley. The programs are free, and all are welcome.
