Joshua Henline was awarded the 2021 FSCJ Scholarship at their September membership meeting. Joshua is a graduate of Rocky Point Jr.-Sr. High School in New York. He moved to Fernandina Beach with his parents Gerald and Dusti Henline. Gerald served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Air Traffic Controller. The scholarship is available to Nassau County high school graduates who enroll in an aviation curriculum at FSCJ. It pays up to $2,500 each year towards tuition, books, and fees associated with the college’s aviation program

In recognizing the scholarship winner, FOFA President, Roger Ridings stated “This is our third year for this program which is in addition to our scholarships for the National Flight Academy awarded to 8th grade students in Nassau County. We have awarded more than $85,000 in educational scholarships to Nassau County students.”
