Nassau County Emergency Management:

We are saddened to announce today that four additional Nassau residents with CoViD-19 have passed away. The patients were a 62-year-old female, a 69-year-old female, a 69-year-old male, and an 88-year-old male. We want to extend our deepest sympathies to their families and loved ones.

Please continue to practice good infection control to prevent more vulnerable individuals from contracting CoViD-19.
If you have family or friends who are on prescription medications like steroids, have asthma or any other lung condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, or a history of any heart or kidney disease, they are at High Risk for serious complications if infected with the Novel SARS-CoV-2 virus.

You can help keep them safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently-touched surfaces (light switches, door handles, counters, pens, remote controls, etc.), washing your hands often, physically distancing yourself and wearing a face-covering around them, and running errands for them so that they don’t have to be exposed to infected carriers out in public
